I was in retail sales for 15 years which slowly started to get harder year by year as my family grew from 1 child to 2 children to 3.
The dad duties of school runs, after school activities, sick days off school, weekend activities, school holidays ect, led to an extremely unfocused and unmotivated employee.
My stress levels were through the roof and all I could think of was a way out of this crazy rat race I was living in.
When a couple of friends started Ubering, I immediately saw this as a way out and as they say…. The rest in history.
I first started driving part time after work and on the weekends and quickly decided that I can make this work for me and went full time soon after.
Now with over 12000 trips under by belt, I’ve put everything i’ve learned into this course, so YOU, don’t waste time on all the common rookie mistakes so you can be a successful appdriver from day one.
What I discovered when I Initially started looking into becoming a private hire driver was that there was very limited information on not only the sign up process but what to do once you started.
You are basically left on your own to figure this game out for yourself and unfortunately many never do.
This is what prompted me to start appdriver.co.uk where I would document the whole process from sign up to picking up my first passenger along with any useful information I was picking up along the way.
